Health & Wellbeing Policies

We’re a neighborhood restaurant, and we want to keep you, our staff and our community safe. We’re keeping a close eye on policy updates from local health departments and the CDC, making sure our procedures exceed recommended measures.

For the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff, Josephine Estelle will continue to observe all state and local COVID safety guidelines as they evolve. For your safety, we recommend that all guests be vaccinated before their visit. Learn more about the latest restrictions concerning proof of vaccination status, masking policies and indoor dining capacity here.

Here are some of the things we’re doing:

  • Please be advised: in accordance with current City of New Orleans health restrictions, anyone 5 years of age and older must provide proof of at least one dose of an approved COVID vaccine or negative PCR test within 72 hours to enter any indoor dining establishment.

  • Deep cleaning and sanitation of public spaces on an hourly schedule

  • All staff and guests must wear face coverings until seated at a table — we’ll have some available if you forgot yours

  • Every team member undergoes a temperature check before each shift

  • There are posted social distancing guidelines throughout that we ask both staff and guests to follow

  • Touchless hand sanitizers and wipes are available throughout the restaurant

  • Room service and deliveries are contactless

  • Our staff have been trained on standards, procedures and best practices for cleanliness and health as provided by the CDC and our local health department. We’re keeping a close eye on local and national government policy changes, and are always updating our protocols to keep you, our staff and our communities safe.
